At Klass Productions we strive to be transparent in our practices and marketing strategies. At WSKlass.com click the "Services" button to see what we can do for you.

There are many marketing agencies out there. Many are global. Many more are small, up-and-coming agencies who just need to be given a chance to show what their fresh eyes and practices can do for their clients. Everyone wants to be successful and they want that yesterday or even last year. The truth is that no company can ethically market their clients to receive the immediate outcome they desire. Take a look at Google Ads or Facebook ads, Do you understand how these ads work really?
Ads are driven by your bids and that means how much money you are willing to drop on clicks. Guess what that means... anyone can click on that ad either on purpose or accident and you are charged for said click. This means that you could wind up with invalid clicks which are classified as violations if you do it yourself in some programs to make money, for example with Google AdSense. But what does that mean for those of us paying for the ads?
Well, it means we get charged and depending upon the policies of the program or company itself, we will still be charged and the company keeps that revenue whether it generated a lead or not for our ads. So, why run ads at all? Because they really do help. You just have to be willing to be patient and willing to invest in the ads. The higher the bids, the better the exposure. That is why big companies dominate the ads we see online.
Knowing that we wont' be getting that kind of exposure unless we are millionaires ourselves, we need to be patient, be smart, and be vigilant. Start by being realistic and search marketing companies we can afford. We have to start small to grow big sometimes. As we invest for success, we can grow over time. Limit these companies to those who specialize in marketing your specific products or services. That will benefit you the most in the long run. If you hire someone who does better at marketing cars when you are selling books, you might not get the outcome you desire. You could or you could receive better, but truth be told, the more your agency knows about your products or services, the better they will be able to market for you.
As an author myself, I specialize in marketing authors and books. When it comes to self promotion tactics, I encourage my clients to do the footwork as well as hire an agency to walk them through a customized strategy. The first thing I always recommend is to issue a Press Release to local media sources. If you can, hire an affordable agency to do this for you. If you can't afford an agency, learn how to do this yourself. It isn't difficult and may benefit everyone differently based on how well you strategize your marketing plan. Talk about yourself in brief and more about what drives you as a creative writer and then discuss your book on social media platforms, lives, to bloggers, and get yourself on radio and podcast shows if at all possible.
What you don't want to do is sound like a narcissist. Try not to sound like a deva unless that is the image you want to promote. Your image is your brand and that will follow you wherever you go. Plan your brand image before your release. Be ready to feel the anxiety and pressure of critics as well as fans. You will meet different types of fans and need to be ready to know how to deal with your public. For that make sure you have a PR professional. We specialize in PR for authors at Klass Productions as well as marketing strategies. For more information on these topics, make sure you subscribe or even reach out to us at WSKlass.com.
